Captain Umang Sharma is a Master Mariner with more than two decades of maritime experience, with extensive operational experience aboard bulk carriers. His background also includes experience supporting inspection and vetting readiness activities involving bulk carriers and tankers, including exposure to CDI and SIRE inspection requirements.
Transitioning from the bridge to the advisory space, Captain Sharma founded MarisVault to bridge a critical gap — bringing an operator's instinct and a consultant's rigour to vessel readiness. His experience includes Pre-PSC and Pre-RightShip inspections and vessel condition assessments.
